Requirements for candidates
Requirements differ from one position to another, but the points below apply to almost every offer published on this website.
General requirements
- A valid passport or ID card of a European Union member state
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Physical fitness for the type of work described in the offer
- Readiness to travel to the employer within approximately seven days after confirmation
- Ability to organise and pay for your own travel to the workplace
Language
Most positions do not require any specific language certificate. Basic communication is enough for warehouse, production and seasonal work, and teams are often international. If a position genuinely requires a language, it is stated in the job description.
Experience and qualifications
Many offers are open to candidates without previous experience — training takes place at the workplace. Some positions have additional requirements:
- Driving jobs: a valid driving licence of the required category and, where applicable, a professional driver qualification
- Welding and assembly jobs: practical experience and, for some employers, a valid certificate
- Seasonal picking work: no experience needed, but the work is physical and performed outdoors
Accommodation and transport
For most offers accommodation is arranged by the employer or the agency, and its cost is deducted from the salary. The exact amount and the transport arrangements to the workplace are always listed in the individual offer.
